February 10-11, 2026: Final workshop of the PRIN 2022 Research Project on Renewable Energy Communities
The PRIN 2022 research project Compensation Rules Among Members of Heterogeneous Energy Communities, funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR), is approaching its formal conclusion.
During the project period, the research activities have addressed economic modelling, incentive allocation mechanisms, regulatory design and behavioural aspects of renewable energy communities, combining theoretical analysis, optimization modelling and empirical investigation.
The project has generated conference presentations, working papers and ongoing journal submissions, contributing to the academic debate on decentralized renewable energy systems and policy design.
Research activities on energy communities and related policy issues will continue beyond the formal end of the project, building on the analytical frameworks and collaborations developed during the PRIN programme.
